Carmi Power Outage This Morning
The City of Carmi has scheduled a power outage for a portion of the city to occur this (Tues) morning as crews replace a pole.
The outage will begin around 8 and includes the 1300 block of Oak Streeet, West block of Gilpin Street, all of Woodlawn Avenue, and the east side of Lexington Avenue. Residents of Oak and Gilpin Streets can expect about a two hour outrage, while the other areas could see power out for up to four or five hours.
The City apologized for any inconvenience caused by the outage and indicated the work will be done as quickly and as safely as possible.
