Carmi Police arrested 33 year old Tiffany Weidenburner of Carmi Thursday afternoon after receiving an anonymous tip about her location. Officers found Weidenburner, who was wanted on a White County failure to appear warrant for a traffic violation, inside the laundry room of a residence at 514 Smith Street. She was taken into custody at 3:12 pm, and was found to be in possession of a glass pipe that tested positive for methamphetamine. Weidenburner was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia and is being held without bond on those charges pending a court hearing. She is being held on a $500 bond on the warrant charge at the White County Jail.
35 year old Brenda Fond of Carmi was arrested at her residence on 9th Street by Carmi Police on a White County warrant for theft after receiving information of her location. Fond was taken into custody on the back porch at 4:37 pm and transported to the White County Jail. She is being held pending the posting of a $2500 bond.
At 7:33 pm Thursday, 38 year old Stephen Wilson of Enfield surrendered at the Carmi Police Department on a White County warrant for criminal trespass. Wilson was processed at the White County Jail and was released after posting a $150 bond.
