Tuesday afternoon, Carmi Police received a report of stolen medication from Donald Van Horne. Van Horne told officers that four different prescriptions were taken from his camper on 3rd Street.
Early Wednesday morning, 19 year old Samuel Stafford of Enfield was arrested by Carmi Police after a traffic stop. Stafford was pulled over at 1:58 am in the Carmi Motel parking lot, and was taken into custody for improper display of a license plate. Stafford was also cited for not having valid insurance. He is being held at the White County Jail in lieu of a $150 bond.
