City Police Make Warrant Arrest
Carmi City Police made two arrest Monday, both on outstanding warrants.
Dustin Myers, 23, 1560 County Road 1400 East, Carmi was picked up on Seventh Street around 2:45 Monday afternoon, after a local officer saw Myers and knew him to be wanted on a misdemeanor theft warrant.
He was picked up and transported to the City County Jail, where he posted $150 cash bond and a $20 booking fee prior to be released from custody.
Later in the day, local authorities picked up 30 year old Larry R. Tyree, 510 Sycamore Street, Carmi.
Tyree was arrested on Fifth Street at the railroad crossing around 6:30 Monday night.
Bail was set at $500 and Tyree remained in custody Tuesday morning.
