Carmi Police made an arrest early Friday morning after encountering a stopped car in the old Carmi Hospital parking lot.
22 year old Preston Abbott of New Haven, along with a minor were in the vehicle when Officer Josh Moore approached. After investigation, Abbott was found to be in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and an open alcohol container.
Abbott’s charged with a Class 4 Felony Manufacturing or Delivering of Cannabis 10-30 grams and a pair of misdemeanors; Possession of Paraphernalia and Endangering the Life or Health of a Child.
