A Carmi couple is behind bars Wednesday morning following their joint arrest jus tafter 10pm Tuesday. Officers responded to a home on North Seventh Street in reference to a physical altercation. Police placed both 59-year-old Jon Brassard and 52-year-old Kimberly Rose under arrest. Brassard faces a charge of Domestic Battery. Rose also faces a Domestic Battery charge along with a Resisting a Peace Officer charge to boot.
