A Carmi man convicted in Hamilton County court on Friday was also sentenced in White County on Monday. States Attorney Denton Aud announced that 33 year old Curtis Bertram pled guilty to one count of possession of methamphetamine in February and was sentenced to 12 years in prison with two years of mandatory supervised release following incarceration.
The sentence mirrors the one Bertram received from Hamilton County on a count of arson and the two jail terms will run concurrently. The White County Sheriff’s Department handled the investigation.
