29 year old Brant P Duffy of Carmi was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Wednesday in White County Court according to States Attorney Denton Aud.
Duffy was arrested by Carmi Police on October 15th in relation to a break in at Plum Street Pharmacy and was convicted on one count of burglary.
In addition to jail time, Duffy will be under mandatory supervised release for two years following incarceration, and was ordered to pay all mandatory fines, fees, costs, and assessments in addition to make restitution to Plum Street Pharmacy.
The Carmi Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the White County Sheriff’s Department.
