Carmi Council Meeting Tuesday
The Carmi City Council meeting Tuesday will open with a public hearing at 5:15, with the regular meeting to start at 5:30.
The public hearing concerns an ordinance, if passed would allow the city to vacate a portion of an alley in Lot Four, Block Four of Partridge Addition.
In other matters, The Carmi White County High School STEM class will present plans for a dog park.
The council will be asked to revise a façade improvement grant program application and agreement.
Bids for moving and maintenance of city properties is also on the meeting agenda.
Reports from the standing committees and mayor Jeff Pollard will round out the meeting.
The Carmi City Council normally meets at 5:30 the first and third Tuesday of each month.
