The Carmi City Council will meet Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 225 East Main Street. PER GOVERNOR PRITZKER’S ORDER, A MASK WILL BE REQUIRED AS WELL AS SOCIAL DISTANCING. The meeting will be preceded by a Public Hearing at 5:15 p.m. for the Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program Grant application for sidewalks in Industrial Park.
The agenda will include discussion and possible approval of a proposal from Kelly Northcott, Chamber Director, seeking permission to stage the White County Christmas Parade, discussion of possibly moving the November 3, 2020, City Council Meeting due to Election Day, reports and/or updates from Mayor Pollard and Standing Committees, as well as business or comments from visitors.
There will also be a Closed Session to discuss property and personnel issues with no action to follow.
