City of Carmi leaders are set to hear from a First Bank representative at their next City Council meeting scheduled for 5:30pm Tuesday. That presentation will feature a credit card analysis and precedes agenda items which include another ordinance regarding the unacceptance of credit and debit cards for utility payments. Leaders will also consider resolutions on street closures for the annual Christmas parade, a TIF agreement amendment for Campbell Farms, and a TIF Agreement with Dan Kerns regarding property at 201 North Walnut. City Council is also expected to approve a T&R Electric quote amounting to more than $21,000 for supplies on 19 transformers. There will be a bid opening for demolition of a home at 200 West Kerney and alderpersons will also discuss Engine 12 at the power plant. City Council meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month typically at 225 East Main Street.
