The Carmi Chamber of Commerce has awarded $200 grants to each of the following teachers in the Carmi White County School District:
Megan King, Jefferson Attendance Center- accessories and apps for classroom I-pad
Barbara McArthy, Jefferson Attendance Center- sensory seating
Jaclyn Garner, Brownsville School- Pathway to Literacy Curriculum
Lora O’Daniel, Washington Attendance Center-microscope for classroom
Tina Mosier, Washington Attendance Center- document camera
The grant recipients were selected by the Chamber’s Education Committee and approved during the Board of Directors meeting on September 8, 2016 The Carmi Chamber of Commerce is pleased to provide these grants to help further the education of students in the Carmi White County School District which are funded through proceeds from the Chamber’s annual Golf Tournament.
