The Carmi Chamber of Commerce has awarded $200 grants to each of the following teachers in the Carmi White County School District:
Mrs. Patricia Trout, Speech-Language Therapy- therapy materials
Ms. Melissa Dartt, Lincoln Attendance Center- leveled books for reading groups
Ms. Jessica Mason, Washington Attendance Center- weather unit for science
Mrs. Beth Hart, Brownsville School- Runtz chairs
Mrs. Milly Pate, Pre-Kindergarten- visual arts curriculum
The grant recipients were selected by the Chamber’s Education Committee and approved during the Board of Directors meeting on April 14, 2016. The Carmi Chamber of Commerce is pleased to provide these grants to help further the education of students in the Carmi White County School District.
