It’s a Tradition
Carrying on a long-standing tradition, WROY AM 1460 and 92.1 FM will be broadcasting Awards Day Ceremonies at both Carmi White County High School and Norris City Omaha Enfield High School.
The Carmi White County Awards Ceremony will be held tomorrow (Friday) at the High School Gym. The ceremony includes the announcement of a number of scholarship recipients as well as a number of special awards. Scholarships run the gamut from Chamber of Commerce scholarships to sheriff’s scholarships.
The NCOE Awards Day is Thursday, May 16. Scholarships and special awards will be presented at the NCOE ceremony as well. The NCOE ceremony will begin at 10:15 next Thursday morning.
The Carmi-White County Awards Day event will get underway around 10:20 Friday morning.
Parents, grandparents, other family and friends that can’t attend the special ceremonies are invited to tune in to WROY AM 1460 and 92.1 FM for coverage of the entire event, both Carmi and Norris City.
