A Carmi man was convicted in White County Court on Monday after he failed to appear for sentencing according to States Attorney Denton Aud.
43 year old Greg Allen Pinkard received a seven year sentence on one charge of forgery and a seven year sentence on one charge of possession of methamphetamine. The two sentences will run concurrently, and Pinkard will be under mandatory supervised release for one year after incarceration on each charge. He was also ordered to pay all mandatory fines, fees, costs, and assessments.
At the conclusion of the hearing, Judge T Scott Webb issued a warrant for Pinkard’s arrest with no bond amount and no geographical restrictions. Anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of Greg Pinkard are asked to contact law enforcement.
