Less than a month after White County States Attorney Chris Neal filed a motion to not prosecute on charges of Possession of Meth and Meth Delivery following a drug bust that netted ten total arrests and more than 430 grams of methamphetamine, Christian Stevens, one of the homeowners in that coordinated November 2025 raid has landed back behind bars. Carmi Police say they took Stevens into custody just before 1:30 Monday afternoon at his 105 Fairview Drive home on a charge of Domestic Battery. The alleged victim is a 28-year-old female and a 2-year-old was also present according to the report.

Also Monday afternoon, about 15 hours after being arrested at Caseys, Police arrested 20-year-old Mahayla Tibbs of Herrin again. She was picked up in a parking lot on Church Street and arrested on the same charge that landed her behind bars Sunday night, Driving while License Suspended. After booking, Tibbs was released with a citation and given a court date of May 26th at 9am.

A pair of Maple Street residents are jailed after Carmi Police were called to their residence for an altercation. It was just after 4:30pm when officers arrived and placed both 42-year-old Danielle Conrad and 34-year-old Tiffany Perusky in cuffs on a charge of Domestic Battery. Both were taken to the White County Jail where they remain until they can be seen by a judge.
