The White County Board held an emergency meeting yesterday afternoon at the White County Courthouse to address a personnel issue at the White County Ambulance Service.
Director Terry McCormick has announced that he is taking a leave of absence from his position due to illness. Following a 50 minute executive session, the Board unanimously approved McCormick’s suggestion to name Adam Allen as the interim director.
The Board also unanimously approved a salary of $500 a month for the interim director position before adjourning at 5:30pm.
