4-H Pork Chop Dinner
The annual 4-H Support Committee Pork Chop Dinner is coming up later this month.
The annual fund-raiser will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, March 16 at the Floral Hall of the White County Fairgrounds here in Carmi.
The Support committee will donate money from the dinner to the Extension. The funds are then used to purchase awards, fund trips, workshops, help pay part of 4-H enrollment and provide a discount to members on project manuals.
This is the main fundraiser for the 4-H Support Committee, so everyone is urged to attend and help out the local 4-H clubs.
The dinner will include pork chops, mashed potatoes, green beans, bread, dessert and a drink. Tickets are $10 a person in advance or at the door.
Tickets may be purchased from any White County 4-H member, leader of at the Extension office, here in Carmi.
