Mar. 9 – 12 & 2 p.m. – The SIC Falcons Softball team will play a doubleheader against Wabash Valley College at home on Falcon Field.

Mar. 11 –The Black and White art exhibition opens in the main gallery and the Joan Skiver-Levy art exhibition opens in the west gallery at the Ella Elizabeth Hise Museum of Regional Art. These exhibits run from March 11 through May 10. A special reception for the exhibits and artists will be held on May 5 at 2 p.m.

Mar. 12, 15, 22, & 26 – 9 a.m.; Mar. 19, 26, & 28 – 1 p.m. – TEAS testing (Nursing Entrance Exam). Mar. 14 – 3 p.m. – The SIC Falcons Baseball team will play Kaskaskia College at home on Falcon Field.

Mar. 14 – 6-8 p.m. – The SIC Falcons FoG Esports team will host an Open House at their arena located on SIC’s Harrisburg Campus across from the cafeteria. This is a chance for potential future team members, younger students, community members, and parents to come tour the esports facilities on campus and have some conversations with the coach and current team members of the SIC varsity esports team. Potential new members can come to learn what it takes to be on the team, including how to join. Free refreshments and team souvenirs will be available. Mar. 15 – 5:30-9 p.m. – SIC Student Government and the Math & Science Club present Game Night in the Heritage Room. This event is open to all SIC students and includes video games (Jack Box Party and Super Smash Brothers), board games, card games, karaoke, VR, and free food and drinks. Mar. 19 – 6 p.m. –The SIC Board of Trustees meeting will be held in the Rodney J. Brenner Board Room.

Mar. 21 – 2 & 4 p.m. – The SIC Falcons Softball team will play a doubleheader against John A. Logan College at home on Falcon Field.

Mar. 25 – Summer and Fall Registration begins at SIC. Register for classes at www.my.sic.edu/ics or email an advisor at [email protected].

Mar. 26 – 4-6 p.m. –SIC’s Kids Fair 2024 will take place in Deaton Gym. Free games, fun, food and much more will be available for ages preschool to third grade. This year’s theme is circus. This event is provided by the Community Education Department at Southeastern Illinois College. For more information call 252-5400 ext. 2300.

Mar. 27 – 7 p.m. – The Night Before Nationals with the SIC Forensic Falcons at the George T. Dennis Visual and Performing Arts Center Theatre. A suggested donation of $5 is requested to help fund their trip to Nationals. For more information, email [email protected].

Mar. 28 – 12 p.m. – SIC Student Government is hosting SIC Alumnus David Blair in the B126 West Lecture Hall. Mr. Blair will be discussing his journey from Eldorado to Washington D.C., the current political climate, and what we can expect in the elections this fall. This event is free and open to the public.
