White County Sheriff Doug Maier observed 29 year old Adam Brown of Carmi on Cherry Street Wednesday morning, and, knowing Brown had an active White County warrant for theft, took him into custody.
Brown was transported to the White County Jail, and is being held pending the posting of a $150 bond.
