55 year old Ernest James of Carmi was arrested by White County Sheriff’s deputies on Saturday night on a White County warrant for domestic battery. James was taken into custody at his residence at his residence on Ableson Drive at 7:44pm and transported to the White County Jail. James was later released after posting a $750 bond.
