31-year-old Austin Rossiter is headed to prison following a plea agreement in White County court Wednesday. The Carmi man was facing charges that date back to June of this year including five counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material and a Sex with an Animal charge.

Wednesday, Rossiter pled guilty to three of the Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material charges with the remaining counts dismissed. For his plea, Rossiter was sentenced to three consecutive 5 year terms in the Department of Corrections. He’ll also face 3 years of mandatory supervised release and a fine. Rossiter was credited with 69 days of time served.
