
Just a little after 4:30 Tuesday morning, 33-year-old Logan Wachter was pulled over by Carmi Police for no registration lights and improper lane usage.
He was then placed under arrest for possession of cannabis in a motor vehicle and cited for no registration lights. Wachter was given a court date for October 6 at 9 am.


Hours later, Carmi Police were dispatched to a residence on Stewart Street regarding a physical dispute.
After an investigation, police arrested 33-year-old Michael Wyant for domestic battery and interfering with domestic battery. Amy Ward was also placed under arrest and charged with domestic battery.
During court on Wednesday morning, both Michael Wyant and Amy Ward were released from the White County Jail and given court dates for their arraignments on October 5 at 9 am for Wyant and October 7 at 1 for Ward.

Then in the early morning hours on Wednesday, 46-year-old Teresa Wyatt of Norris City was stopped for unlawful display of a license plate. The officer placed her under arrest for the offense and issued her a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle. Wyatt will have her first court appearance on October 6 at 9 am
