A Crossville man, formerly of Newton is behind bars in Carmi awaiting extradition to Jasper County following his arrest overnight. A White County Sheriff’s deputy says he was alerted just before 1am that a wanted individual was at a home in Crossville. Upon arrival at the home, the deputy made contact with and confirmed the identity of 21-year-old Corey Cessna. He was wanted on an active Jasper County warrant related to a Domestic Battery charge from earlier this year. Cessna was taken into custody and lodged in the White County Jail.
