
A White County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a Norris City residence after a 911 call requesting that someone be removed from the property.
The caller said her husband, Tony Johnson, was intoxicated and kicking her. The officer saw an injury on the victim’s face, which she attributed to Johnson striking her.
Johnson was arrested for Domestic Battery and taken to White County Jail. Officers learned he had a prior Domestic Battery with Injury conviction from 2025. The charge was upgraded to Domestic Battery with Prior Conviction, a Class 4 Felony.
Johnson entered a plea deal for his first Domestic Battery charge in June 2025 and was sentenced to six months’ jail, anger management, and two years’ conditional discharge.
A preliminary hearing for his 2026 charge is set for June 8 at 10 am. Norris City Police assisted.

Crossville resident Madison Buchanan was served an arrest warrant Saturday for her White County charges of Battery and Disorderly Conduct.
The warrant was booked and released. Buchanan’s First Appearance is on May 27 at 9 am.

While on patrol in Enfield, a deputy saw a vehicle parked along East Hosick Street early Sunday and recognized it as belonging to Holli Musgrave.
At the time, Musgrave had an active warrant out of Posey County, Indiana, for Possession of Methamphetamine.
Around 2:20 am, the officer saw the vehicle leave and conducted a traffic stop.
Upon being advised of the Posey County warrant, Musgrave was arrested. She was also cited for Operating a Vehicle with Suspended Registration and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

While Misty Richey waited to be released from the White County Jail and placed on electronic monitoring for her local charges, authorities served her an arrest warrant out of Williamson County.
The Williamson County warrant is for Failure to Appear on a Canceled/Revoked/Suspended Registration from February.
