On Wednesday, a White County Sheriff’s Deputy went to a Fairview Drive residence in Carmi to arrest a man on a White County warrant.
Deputy knocked; Charles Wenzel answered. The Deputy informed him about the 2023 Theft warrant.
Wenzel missed his court date on February 11, which led to the issuance of the warrant. After his arrest, a PTR/Arraignment for Wenzel was set for May 4 at 9:30, and he was released.
In a separate case on Wednesday, another man was arrested on a White County warrant.
Reginald Brown of Burnt Prairie was wanted on a White County Full Extradition warrant for violating Sex Offender Registration.
A warrant for Brown was issued on January 15. After his arrest by the White County Sheriff’s Department, he was given a First Appearance court date of March 23 at 9.
