It’s all going to be ok. That’s the message from Edwards County Council on Aging Chairman Doug Raber. He tells WROY/WRUL News that it was at the November 19th meeting where the Edwards County Center Board received some information that was proven incorrect. That information raised substantial concern in Grayville, led to news stories and even an Evansville TV station descending on the town to cover the unfolding events. A campaign to raise money for the Grayville Senior Center has raised over $7,000 since Tuesday morning. Raber says leaders have since been in contact with representatives from Grayville and service has been restored pending any further action by the board. Raber says there was never any intention to harm seniors in Grayville. A special meeting has been called for Tuesday, December 5th in Albion at 5:30pm to discuss and provide a path forward.
