The Carmi-White County Volleyball team will face Bloomington Central Catholic tonight in the IHSA 2A Super Sectional at Shelbyville. The Lady Bulldogs come into tonight’s match with a 37-2 record, Central Catholic comes in at 34-5. The Lady Bulldogs fell to Central Catholic last year in the Super Sectional in two sets.
The winner of tonight’s Super Sectional will head to the IHSA State Finals this weekend at Illinois State University in Normal to face either Chicago Christian or Riverdale in the Class 2A State Semis on Friday.
Carmi-White County is ranked #6 in Class 2A, Central Catholic is ranked #2.
Fans can watch and listen to tonight’s match on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel. First serve is set for 7 PM.
The NCOE Volleyball team is also playing for a Super-Sectional tonight at Wayne City, they will face Okawville for a chance to head to the Class 1A State Finals.

Casey-Westfield will host Calhoun in the quarterfinals this weekend.

DuQuoin fell to Westville, 49-13.
Johnston City fell to Maroa-Forsyth, 41-6
Flora defeated Pana, 17-14.
Flora will travel to Maroa-Fosyth in the quarterfinals this weekend.

Carterville fell to Sacred Heart-Griffin, 45-15.

Evansville North fell to Floyd Central, 15-10.
