The Carmi-White County Volleyball team will take on Newton tonight in the IHSA 2A Regional Championship at Hamilton County.
The Lady Bulldogs come into tonight’s match with a 34-2 record, meanwhile Newton is 21-15.
Carmi has faced Newton twice this season, winning in two sets at the Fairfield Kickoff Tournament back in August. The Lady Bulldogs then won in 3 sets at Newton on September 15th.
The winner of tonight’s match will move on to the Benton Sectional. Carmi is looking for their 3rd consecutive Regional Championship, and 4th regional title in 5 years.

Numerous area teams including six teams from the Black Diamond Conference qualified for the IHSA Football playoffs.
