The Carmi-White County Volleyball team defeated Edwards County last night on the road in 2 sets, 27-25 and 25-20.
The Lady Bulldogs improve to 27-2 on the year and 6-0 in the Black Diamond Conference, as they now have sole possession of 1st Place in the BDC after handing the Lions just their 2nd loss of the season.
Carmi will travel to Hamilton County tonight to face the Foxes. Hamilton County is 14-10 and 3-2 in the BDC. Fans will be able to watch tonight’s match on FoxesFans.net.
Carmi-White County senior Maxon O’Daniel traveled to Effingham yesterday for the IHSA 1A Golf Sectionals. Unfortunately O’Daniel did not advance to this weekend’s State Finals, he finished the day tied for 70th Place shooting an 89, 12 strokes away from making the cut. Congratulations to Maxon O’Daniel on a great golf career, and congratulations to the Bulldog Golf team on a great season.
The Carmi-White County Junior Varsity Football team traveled to Vienna yesterday, and the Bulldogs came away with a 30-24 victory.
