61-year-old Clarence Martin entered a guilty plea at the White County Courthouse on Monday morning.
In May of 2025, Clarence was arrested and faced three charges: Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Victim less than 13 years of age, Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse, and Criminal Sexual Assault of a Family Member.
Per the plea agreement, Clarence pled guilty to only the charge of Criminal Sexual Assault of a Family Member, with the other two charges dismissed by the court. He will go through a sex offender evaluation and will face a possible sentence of 4-15 years at the Illinois Department of Corrections.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for October 27 at 1:30 pm.
