The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog Volleyball team will begin their season tonight at home against Mt. Carmel. The Lady Bulldogs are coming off the winningest season in CWC Volleyball history where they went 37-3, winning their second consecutive regional and sectional championships. Tonight’s matchup with the Golden Aces is a rematch of last year’s regional championship match. The Lady Bulldogs will be at home tomorrow night as well as they host Grayville.
Fans can watch tonight and tomorrow’s matches on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel. Varsity will begin at around 7:15 PM.
The Carmi-White County Jr. Pro football teams traveled to Red Hill on Saturday to face Flora.
The 5th/6th grade Bulldogs won 26-16, 7th/8th grade lost 38-6. The Jr. Pro Bulldogs will travel to Albion on Saturday to face Edwards County.
Back on Friday, Carmi-White County High School announced the return of the CWCHS Sports Hall of Fame. For the first time since 2014, three new members will be inducted into the hall; Chase Kittinger, Tyler Choate, and Keegan Dennis.
