The Carmi-White County Boys & Girls Golf teams hosted Harrisburg, Gallatin County, and NCOE at the Carmi Country Club yesterday afternoon.
The Bulldogs came away victorious with a team score of 160.
Maxon O’Daniel was a medalist, shooting a 38.
Gabe Winkleman shot a 39.
Jax Jordan shot a 40.
Abe Girten shot a 43.
Jordan Tomassetti shot a 44.
Cayden Holloman shot a 45.
The Lady Bulldogs finished 2nd with a team score of 236.
Bri Hale shot a 57.
Katelyn Davis shot a 58.
Makenlee Holloman shot a 59.
Eva Grogan shot a 62.
Sophia McCully shot a 65.
Emma Legg shot a 70.
The CWC Golf teams will travel to Hamilton County on Wednesday.
Last night was the annual Fall Sports Preview at Carmi-White County High School. In the Lady Bulldog Volleyball scrimmages, the JV squad defeated the freshmen 20-16, and the varsity squad defeated the JV, 25-7. The Lady Bulldogs will begin their season on Monday at home against Mt. Carmel.
Tonight the Carmi-White County Bulldog Football team will travel to Mt. Carmel for a scrimmage with the Golden Aces. This is the 2nd season that the IHSA has allowed teams to scrimmage before Week 1. Tonight’s scrimmage was originally scheduled to be played in Carmi, but with the field conditions at Harrington-Jeffires Field it was moved to Mt. Carmel.
The Bulldogs will kickoff the 2025 season next Friday at Johnston City.
