Carmi Police Chief Jason Carter says he anticipates a report later today being released with regards to vandalism that occurred at Burrells Woods Thursday night into Friday. Individuals spray painted tables, garbage cans and the concrete pad under a shelter there. Carter says the vandalism happened between 2 and 3am Friday morning. He says closed circuit cameras captured a vehicle and will be releasing additional details this morning. Whether that’s the identity of the culprits or a photo of the vehicle asking for the public’s help in IDing the perps is yet to be seen. Stick with WROY/WRUL News for the latest.
