Two Arrested in Mt Vernon After Disturbance Call

On Monday, Mount Vernon Police Department Officers were investigating a disturbance on West Fourth Street.

While officers were on scene, they encountered Robert Menser and Kiersten Singer and detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the residence. Officers received consent to search the residence and during the search, they located glass pipes containing suspected Methamphetamine, a baggie containing suspected marijuana, and drug paraphernalia items.

Singer and Menser were arrested and taken to the Posey County Jail.

Singer is facing charges of possession of Methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.

Menser is being charged with possession of Methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
