Hydrant Flushing to Begin Starting October 15th, the City of Carmi will begin flushing fire hydrants nightly from 1am-5am. The process should last approximately two to three weeks. During this time, customers may experience low water pressure or discoloration in their water. The City of Carmi apologizes for any inconvenience.
