The boil order issued for 1625 Sunnybrook and Hillcrest, here in Carmi has been lifted.
The order was issued Thursday by the City of Carmi, who apologized for any inconvenience during the boil order.

Carmi City Water Superintendent Kurt Cleveland says the boil order that had been issued on August 10th for Carmi water customers between Shipley and Stewart Street starting on 7th Street west to Illinois Street has been lifted.

Village residents no longer need to boil your water for human consumption.
