Alexis Rusch is a photographer and educator whose “work” varies and includes many subjects such as abandoned buildings, portraiture, sports, families, newborns, children, as well as breaking news events.
Alexis attended Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art with a specialization in Photography and Graphic Design. She earned a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Indiana State University.
Alexis’s art has been featured in several galleries over the last three years, and she has worked as a Staff Photographer for the Terre Haute Tribune-Star Newspaper. She is currently a full-time Student Support Specialist and Professor of Art at Oakland City University.

There will be a special opportunity to meet the artist following the Massenkoff Russian Folk Festival performance at 1:30 on Sunday, October 23.
