40-year-old Crossville native Levi Crawford pled guilty to his December 2025 charge of Criminal Damage to Property.
As previously reported, during the December 2025 incident, Crawford allegedly threw a large rock at a passing vehicle, causing significant damage. When officers subsequently attempted to arrest Crawford, he fled into his home and was found standing in the kitchen holding a sharp object. Authorities commanded him multiple times to drop the object before deploying a taser.

In sentencing, Crawford will pay $500 in restitution to Gabe Douglas and $100 to White County Housing. In addition, he will serve a six-month jail sentence, be placed on two years of conditional discharge, and undergo a mental health assessment.
Four other charges in the case were dismissed, including an additional charge of Criminal Damage to Property, Obstruction of Justice, Resisting a Peace Officer, and Reckless Conduct.
After his arrest on Monday, Donald Currier was denied a pre-trial release for his charges of Aggravated Domestic Battery Strangulation, and Domestic Battery.
Additionally, Currier is facing charges stemming from a November 2025 incident; these charges include another Domestic Battery, Disorderly Conduct, and Interfering with Reporting a Domestic Battery. The pre-trial hearings for both November 2025 and the other case are scheduled for May 14 at 1 pm.
During court on Wednesday, Judge T. Scott Webb agreed to continue Britni Grimes’ preliminary hearing to May 13 at 10 am. The continuation was granted because Grimes tested positive for Methamphetamine prior to the hearing.
Grimes is facing charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Use of Property, Unlawful Use of Cannabis, and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
A Harrisburg woman, Misty Richey, was granted a pre-trial release. The state agreed to the release, on one condition, that Richey have electronic monitoring until her pre-trial hearing on May 6 at 1pm.
Richey will have the hearing concerning her charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Use of Property, and Aggravated Fleeing of a Peace Officer.
38-year-old James Burdin pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of Violating an Order of Protection back on February 14. Burdin has another case in White County, for Theft and False Complaint to 911. A pre-trial was set for both cases for June 3 at 9 am.
Mt. Carmel resident, Daisy Cordle, also pleaded not guilty in her White County court case on Wednesday.
Cordle received a two-year conditional discharge, a $250 fine, and will serve 240 hours of community service for her Driving While License Suspended charge.
Cordle’s two other charges of Unlawful Use of Cannabis by a Driver and Improper Lane Usage were dismissed.
Cookeville, Tennessee, native Christopher Western entered a plea deal on his Driving Under the Influence charge.
The 25-year-old will complete a DUI evaluation and counseling, as well as two years of court supervision, and pay a fine.
Lastly, for White County court news, 39-year-old Norris City woman Destiny Sauls will face a possible jury trial on charges of Criminal Damage to Property and Resisting a Peace Officer stemming from her October 2025 incident.
