The White County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residence regarding the arrest of a male individual wanted on a White County warrant.
Sheriff Weiss, a White County Sheriff Deputy and Sergeant, along with Carmi Police Chief Jason Carter, were at the residence on Shipley Street, where they noticed a camper and knocked on the door.
Sally Spivey answered and insisted that there was only one other person in the camper, Angela Bartley, who exited the camper.
Officers did not believe the women and continued to call out for the male suspect. After a short while, the male, Nicholas Page, appeared with his hands on his back, ready to be taken into custody.
Page had an active White County warrant for a charge of Battery just last month. Page was escorted to the White County Jail, and was brought in front of a judge Friday, and scheduled an Arraignment on August 4 at 10 am.
As for Sally Spivey, she was also arrested by the White County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday for Obstructing Justice.
