A White County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop in front of Doug’s Food Mart in Norris City on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in the arrest and later release of Joshua Buckman.
Buckman was placed under arrest for Driving while License Suspended. Once Buckman was transported to the White County Jail, he was released and given a First Appearance for June 30 at 9 am.
Carmi Police arrested a local woman Wednesday night at a residence on Oak Street.
46-year-old Angela Goff was arrested for Violation of an Order of Protection, which has been active since December 2025.
Goff is scheduled to appear before a judge on Thursday morning.
