Three Arrested Wednesday

Just before 5 pm on Wednesday, Carmi Police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of West Main and Sunset, where two individuals were transported to the White County Jail.
Following the stop, Jayme Johnson was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Use of Property, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
James Greer is facing the same charges along with additional charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration, Operating an Uninsured Vehicle, and Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle.
Just a couple of hours later, Carmi Police and White County Sheriff Deputies responded to a 911 call on Sycamore Street.
The caller stated that William D Wilson unlawfully entered the home, threatened to kill the residents, and take their dog.
Wilson was arrested on the scene and taken to the White County Jail, where he has been charged with two counts of Threatening a Public Official, Aggravated Battery, Criminal Trespass to Residence, and Assault.
