A sentencing date has been scheduled after a jury found 56-year-old Chris Rogers guilty on all charges Wednesday. Jury selection began Tuesday and opening statements were made. Wednesday, the trial concluded with the case being sent to the jury for deliberations just before 5pm. About 45 minutes later, a verdict was reached finding Rogers guilty on all charges including an amended count of Aggravated DUI and 5 other charges ranging from Improper Lane Usage to Speeding and also Aggravated DUI on a Suspended/Revoked License. Deputy Michael Brown was called to testify in the case. Rogers himself didn’t take the stand. The case dates back to an incident on November 7th of 2024. Sentencing has been set for June 25th at 9:30am.
