Ray Arrested by Carmi Police Friday

A Crossville man picked up his fourth arrest of the year Friday afternoon in the Carmi Dairy Queen parking lot.  Carmi Police arrested 29-year-old Logan Ray after pulling him over for driving with a suspended registration.  In addition to that citation, Ray was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and charged with Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle by the Driver.  That all happened about 4:30pm.  Ray was booked, processed, and released with a Notice to Appear just before 6pm.  In February of this year, Ray was arrested on charges of Possession of Meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Attempting to Foil/Defeat a Drug Screen Test.  He would plead out of that case taking a guilty plea on the Attempting to Foil a Drug Screen Test while the Meth and Possession of Paraphernalia charges were dismissed and given 2 years of probation, fined, and a 6 month stayed jail sentence.  On May 30th, Ray was cited with Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle which was dismissed on August 5th.  On August 9th, Ray was charged again with Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.  There’s been no resolution to that case though a first appearance was backed up from September 24th to October 29th and now December 8th.
