A Mississippi woman is free following an arrest by Carmi Police Monday afternoon. It was just after 4pm when an officer pulled over 28-year-old Jenna Davis of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi at Dairy Queen. The report alleges Davis was driving a vehicle with a registration that was expired for about 5 years. Officers subsequently say they noticed an odor of raw cannabis emanating from the vehicle prompting a probable cause search and discovery of cannabis inside the car. Davis was then arrested, booked, processed, and released with a Notice to Appear on charges of Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle and Driving on an Expired Registration. She was released around a quarter after 5pm.
