A Carmi man is behind bars following his arrest Monday night by local police. Officers responded to 720 Marguerite around 9:30pm and apprehended 20-year-old Chance Miller of that address saying he was wanted on an active Failure to Appear warrant. That warrant is related to an October 31st charge of Retail Theft, a class a Misdemeanor. The White County court docket shows Miller is due before a judge today.
