Carmi Police arrested 41 year old Earl Scott Roark of Mill Shoals following a traffic stop on Friday morning following a 911 call about a reckless driver. Roark was taken into custody just before 10am after being pulled over in front of the police department after the caller told authorities that Roark was trying to ram her vehicle and was driving erratically.
The 911 caller had an order of protection against Roark, and was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.
Roark was charged with violating an order of protection, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Roark is being held at the White County Jail without bond pending a court hearing.
51 year old James Youngman of Geff was arrested by Carmi Police on a Wayne County warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge following a traffic stop on Saturday. Youngman was taken into custody at 9:36am after being stopped at the intersection of Robinson and Walnut Streets. Youngman was released from the White County Jail after posting a $250 bond.
Saturday night, Carmi officers arrested 28 year old Justin Neaveill of Evansville, IN on a charge of theft possession of stolen property after a stolen car was spotted at a residence on Robinson Street. Neaveill was taken into custody at 9:46pm and transported to the White County Jail where he is being held without bail.
