armi Police ended up with two catch and release situations Sunday. The first involved an Evansville man just after 1:15am pulled over for a driving with suspended registration due to insurance violation. The officer stopped 25-year-old Moses Lorenzo-Martinez on Main at Church Street and placed him under arrest on a charge of Driving on a Suspended License as well as citations for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Operating a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration. After booking, Martinez was given a notice to appear and released at 3am.
About twelve hours later, an officer pulled over 27-year-old John Page of Enfield who was riding a
mini bike on Gilpin at 12th Street. The officer ended up placing Page under arrest on a charge of Possession of Cannabis by a Driver and also cited him with No Valid Registration and No Insurance. Page was subsequently released with a notice to appear at a quarter after 3pm.
