The Carmi-White County Volleyball team hosted North Posey last night at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium, and the Lady Bulldogs fell in two sets; 25-17 & 25-21.
The Lady Bulldogs fall to 6-2 on the year. They will be at home tonight as they host Gallatin County. Fans can watch tonight’s match on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
The Carmi-White County Cross Country team traveled to Murphysboro last night for their first meet of the year. Andrew Benham finished in 7th Place. Their next meet will be next Tuesday at Hamilton County.
The Carmi-White County Jr. High Baseball and Softball teams hosted Albion last night, and both teams picked up wins.
The Lady Bullpups won 6-5, and the Bullpups won 15-3.
Both teams will be at home this evening. The Lady Bullpups will host Rome, and the Bullpups will host Benton.
The CWC Boys & Girls Golf match at home against NCOE and Eldorado, as well as the CWC Girls Tennis match at Mt. Vernon have both been canceled for today.
The Carmi-White County Football team will travel to Hamilton County tomorrow night for Week 3 of the High School Football season. The Bulldogs come in with an 0-2 record still looking for their first win of the year. Meanwhile, Hamilton County is 2-0 for the first time since 2005.
