The Carmi-White County Baseball team defeated Zeigler-Royalton yesterday in the IHSA Regional Quarterfinals by a final score of 9-1.
Hayden Sauls picked up the win on the mound, he allowed just 1 run on 1 hit with 4 strikeouts in 6 innings of work.
At the plate, Sauls, Merick Millhorn, Evan Cronin, Colton Marvin, Abe Girten, and Cole Evans all recorded base hits in the win.
The Bulldogs improve to 8-19 on the season, they advance to the Mt. Carmel Regional where they will face Fairfield tomorrow at 4:30 PM.
